Inca Baths promoted in Argentina, Brazil and Chile
Tour operators were interested in including in their destinations to Cajamarca resort, noted for its hot springs.
Cajamarca. Miguel Barboza, a member of the management committee of the resort, said it filed a first approach with tourist agencies of these countries in the last International Tourism Fair Thermal, developed for the first time in Peru.
"We are in talks to provide the services thermal Inca Baths and promote it as a resting place within the circuit of northern Peru, including Chiclayo, Trujillo and Chachapoyas, told Andina.
"If all goes well we expect a greater flow of tourists from Brazil, Argentina and Chile in the coming years, and place as the Baños del Inca most important thermal resort in northern Peru," he said.
At another point, he said that discussions have begun with a Spanish company interested in participating in the auction of land and construction of a four star hotel alongside the thermal module-playful Baños del Inca.
The project, estimated, would require an investment of about 2 million 500 thousand dollars. Los Baños del Inca have a source of water in the world, whose waters have healing properties.
They are recommended for people with arthritis, skin problems, stress and others, because they contain various minerals (such as potassium, sodium, manganese, calcium and sulfur). The district is located six kilometers from the city of Cajamarca and 2.667 meters above the sea level.
